Market Analyst

to join the US forecasting team and help develop high-quality power market forecasts and analytical tools used across the industry. What you’ll do

Develop market models

– Build and enhance power market and dispatch models to improve forecasting accuracy. Turn data into insight

– Process and analyse complex datasets used in forecasting and optimisation models. Ensure quality and credibility

– Conduct rigorous analysis and validation to maintain high-quality analytical outputs. Shape market outlooks

– Contribute to insights on policy, market design, and structural changes across power markets. Build with the user in mind

– Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver tools that provide clear value to customers. What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or economics 3–5 years’ experience

analysing power markets or energy systems Experience modelling power systems, including areas such as: Power price forecasting Dispatch and optimisation modelling Locational market dynamics Familiarity with

US power markets and renewable technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with

cloud environments (e.g. AWS)

and optimisation frameworks The right mindset

You’re curious, detail-oriented, and commercially aware. You enjoy translating complex technical work into clear insights and collaborating with engineers, product teams, and customers. Details

Location:

New York Salary:

$110,000 – $170,000 depending on experience Hybrid working environment with strong focus on collaboration
