
Business Development Associate

Metric Bio is partnering with a leading drug product CDMO on a search for a Business Development Associate / Inside Sales.
Location: Remote, United States (Occasional travel to Oregon will be required to collaborate directly with the onsite team)
The role will support the growth of the business through lead generation, prospect qualification, and client engagement, acting as a key point of contact for potential customers and ensuring alignment between client needs and internal capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
Managing inbound leads and follow-up from marketing and business development sources
Conducting market research and prioritizing target clients
Supporting proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and ensuring accurate representation of company capabilities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Project Management, and Business Operations
Supporting pricing evaluations, CDAs, and customer experience initiatives
This position offers significant growth potential into Business Development and Marketing roles. Candidates with client-facing pharmaceutical experience and an interest in progressing into BD are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
3–5 years’ experience in technical pharmaceutical development or client-facing roles
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
