About the Role We are partnering with a local manufacturer to hire a Production Planner. This role supports a high-volume environment and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, deadline‑driven setting and enjoys being a key support partner to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for purchasing raw materials to support multiple manufacturing facilities
Lead strategic and tactical projects
Place POs and maintain dates
Work with receiving and suppliers on issues
Monitoring and expedite raw materials
Reconcile accounting issues and resolve discrepancies with quantity, pricing and on time payments
Work with suppliers on QC issue
Responsible for maintaining supplier performance
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
