
Order Fulfillment Specialist

DMF Lighting is a fast-growing leader in the lighting industry, always hard at work engineering what comes next. We are seeking an Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. The Order Fulfillment Specialist ensures all sales orders and work orders flow seamlessly through each process, from order creation through final shipment. This role plays a key part in coordinating between departments to support on-time and accurate deliveries.
Pay range: $18.50 to $20/hr.
Location: onsite in Carson, CA
Core Responsibilities
Monitor the status of sales orders and work orders throughout the fulfillment process
Coordinate with cross-functional departments including Production, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Order Management
Identify process bottlenecks and support resolution to prevent delays
Maintain and update order-related reporting to support visibility and decision-making
Communicate order delays, risks, and status updates to appropriate stakeholders
Daily Duties
Review open sales orders and work orders to identify errors, risks, or inconsistencies
Review shortages for sales orders, work orders, and work with the Sustaining team to identify solutions when possible
Weekly Duties
Perform system clean-up activities to ensure no LPNs are left floating or improperly assigned in the system
Required Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle ERP and/or WMS systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
Prior warehouse or manufacturing environment experience

30 days:
Develop a working understanding of the order orchestration process and systems used to track and manager orders.
60 days:
Independently maintain and update order fulfillment reports with minimal supervision.
90 days:
Proactively identify process issues, suggest basic solutions, and respond confidently to cross-functional questions.
Warehouse and office environment with regular interaction across departments
Schedule Standard weekday schedule with occasional overtime based on business needs
