About The Role As an
HR Business Partner , you serve as a trusted partner to a portfolio of clients, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions to their organizational and people challenges. You excel at context switching, leading HR projects from diagnosis through implementation, and delivering high‑quality HR services that drive business results.
You are comfortable building HR policies and programs from the ground up and thrive in environments where structure is still evolving. Highly flexible and organized, you build strong relationships and communicate with the executive presence to confidently advise CEOs and senior leaders. You bring a solutions‑oriented mindset and are energized by solving complex people challenges across a variety of client environments and industries.
Strong HR employment law and employee relations knowledge across multiple states – including New York and California – is preferred. Experience managing and processing payroll is highly desirable.
You have a proven ability to guide organizations, leaders, and teams through change with clarity and confidence. What You Will Do
Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for assigned client accounts, addressing a wide range of HR and organizational needs, including but not limited to developing or reviewing policies, organizational compliance, compensation analysis, HRIS analysis or implementation, audits, recruitment support, performance management and employee relations and other HR functions including payroll processing and oversight.
Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with client leaders and stakeholders.
Conduct needs assessments to diagnose client challenges and identify effective HR solutions that align with client business objectives.
Lead and facilitate client meetings to gather insights, present recommendations, develop HR roadmaps, and drive decision‑making.
Respond promptly and professionally to client requests, demonstrating active listening and clear communication.
Manage client expectations regarding timelines, deliverables, scope, and budget.
Proactively anticipate client needs and suggest solutions aligned with their business context.
Support company growth through client expansion, retention, satisfaction, and direct contribution to Humani’s KPIs.
Model the company’s mission and values and competencies in all interactions.
Support operational excellence through consistent processes, documentation, and standards the company sets.
Your Experience As an HR Business Partner with 7+ years of progressive client‑facing HR experience, you bring solid leadership and business acumen with a:
Proven ability to manage multiple clients while tailoring your approach to suit diverse client needs.
Ability to leverage team strengths to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Work collaboratively with Generalists, Senior HRBPs, and cross‑functional team members to ensure seamless client service and collective problem‑solving.

Your Skillset & Credentials
A degree or diploma in HR or related field.
Professional HR designation is preferred.
Strong understanding of employment law across multiple states (California and New York preferred).
