Marketing & Events Manager
to lead firm-wide marketing, communications, branding, and event initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who loves owning projects end‑to‑end, brings strong creative thinking to traditional industries, and enjoys partnering closely with leadership teams.
About the Role This position oversees marketing strategy, communication efforts, brand consistency, and all internal and external events. You’ll support firm leadership, contribute to visibility in the community, and help strengthen employee engagement through thoughtful programming and events. The role offers room to grow—from hands‑on execution to taking on broader strategic responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
Lead marketing, branding, communications, and event planning initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Maintain and elevate brand identity across digital and print materials.
Develop creative marketing ideas to help differentiate the firm in a traditional industry.
Oversee website updates, bios, practice descriptions, announcements, and collateral.
Draft and edit internal and external communications (announcements, sponsorships, presentations, etc.).
Coordinate submissions for awards, rankings, and professional directories.
Support public relations and community involvement efforts.
Plan and execute firm-sponsored events, seminars, and networking activities.
Partner with HR on employee engagement programs and culture initiatives.
Manage event logistics—vendors, venues, budgets, invitations, timelines, and follow‑up.
Oversee select social media channels to ensure content aligns with professional standards.
Track marketing calendars, deadlines, contact lists, and event schedules.
Monitor campaign/event effectiveness and recommend improvements.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, event management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or event management.
Exceptional writing, editing, project management, and organizational skills.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.
Experience working independently as well as collaboratively within a professional services environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Canva, WordPress, ticketing platforms, and AI tools.
Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment (strongly preferred).
$60,000 – $70,000 , depending on experience.
