About the role This role plays a critical part in developing a successful events strategy for the Insight brand events team. This position will create and evangelise a framework for trade show event strategy that multiple stakeholders will execute on. Along the way, you will get to:

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Develop Event Strategy – Spearhead Insight’s strategic event and tradeshow plan, identifying key events, focus areas, and best practices for execution.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with sales, services, and alliance leaders to ensure event alignment with business objectives and messaging.

Brand and Messaging Oversight – Ensure consistent representation of Insight’s brand and thought leadership across all event materials and experiences.

Performance Measurement & Optimization – Define KPIs, assess ROI, conduct post‑event reviews, and refine strategies for maximum impact.

Project & Budget Management – Oversee multiple event programs simultaneously, negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure flawless execution.

Team Leadership & Development – Lead, mentor, and develop a team of event specialists, providing strategic direction, prioritisation, and coaching to ensure high‑quality execution, career growth, and consistent delivery across all event programmes.

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a technology‑related field.

Minimum 3 years of B2B marketing experience (technology or channel marketing preferred), with expertise in events marketing.

Familiarity with networking, cloud, security, data & AI, data centre technologies, and IT hardware/software/services.

Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills; ability to work with senior leadership.

Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems; proficient in Microsoft Office tools; ability to travel as needed.
