Technical Trainer – Mechanical & Electrical (Corrugated Industry) BHS Corrugated North America Travel Role – Approx. 50% | U.S., Canada & Occasional Europe

We’re looking for a

Technical Trainer

who can combine deep mechanical and electrical expertise with a passion for developing others. This role is ideal for experienced technicians who want to stay hands‑on in the corrugated industry while transitioning into a position with

more stability, influence, and long‑term growth .

What You’ll Do

Train

BHS customers and internal technicians

in mechanical and electrical systems

Develop and deliver

technical training programs

(classroom, on-the-job, and informal formats)

Create

custom training plans and materials

tailored to customer needs

Provide

hands‑on instruction

on corrugating equipment and real‑world troubleshooting

Partner with customers and internal teams to improve

machine performance, uptime, and efficiency

Translate complex technical issues into

clear, practical training solutions

Complete detailed

training reports , including results, action items, and next steps

Support business growth by

promoting and expanding training services

Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, service, and operations teams

What We’re Looking For

Associate’s degree in Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience

Strong background in

mechanical and/or electrical maintenance or field service

Experience in the

corrugated industry

or with OEM equipment (BW Papersystems, Fosber, Mitsubishi, etc.) is a strong plus

Outgoing, coaching‑oriented personality with strong

communication and presentation skills

Ability to engage and train

adult learners in both classroom and hands‑on environments

Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly learn and teach new technologies

Proficiency in

Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Compensation

$90,000 – $110,000 BASE salary + BONUS

Company‑paid travel expenses

Requirements

Ability to travel approximately

50% across North America , with occasional international travel

Valid driver’s license and passport required

Physically able to:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs

Climb ladders and navigate industrial equipment

Work in varying industrial environments (hot/cold conditions)
