Job Summary
Growing MEP Consulting firm is seeking a Director of Mechanical Engineering to join their team in Las Vegas, NV! Work on meaningful projects from public and private sector across the West coast region as you oversee mechanical projects and support project managers, acting as Engineer of Record. You will bring 10+ years in mechanical design, a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with leadership and people management experience.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Job type: Permanent
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year
Work hours: 8am to 5pm
Education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Oversee the entire Mechanical Engineering department with a team of Project Managers directly reporting to you.
Manage mechanical project lifecycles to ensure work stays within budget and meets all deadlines.
Establish department-wide design standards and QAQC processes.
Build and maintain client relationships, acting as the point of contact for project needs.
Serve as Engineer of Record.
Spearhead training procedures for continuous growth throughout department.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
PE License.
10+ years in Mechanical Design.
Supervising experience.
