We are seeking a part‑time or full‑time experienced and talented Guest Experience & Sales Specialist to join our incredible team. The Guest Experience & Sales Specialist delivers elevated, world‑class hospitality and wine education at our Rutherford estate winery. As a poised and confident brand ambassador, you welcome and engage a diverse range of guests from around the world, creating elevated and memorable tasting experiences that reflect the excellence of our estate. A dynamic storyteller, you bring our brand history and estate wines to life with enthusiasm, depth of knowledge, and authenticity. This role carries a strong sales focus, seamlessly integrating wine education with thoughtful, personalized selling to drive wine sales and allocation membership acquisition.

Success in this role is measured by exceptional guest satisfaction, strong sales performance, and meaningful membership growth. In addition to delivering extraordinary experiences, the Guest Experience & Sales Specialist supports daily winery operations and other responsibilities as assigned.

Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, follow daily operating procedures, and follow daily schedules and personal time management.

Flexibility: The willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet guest and business needs. Ability to positively accept changing daily priorities and to be prepared for any unexpected service requirements.

Responsibilities Wine Service and Sales

Create memorable guest experiences in a luxury setting, hosting wine and food pairings.

Educate guests about ONEHOPE wine portfolio, winemaking style, providing overall Napa Valley knowledge.

Achieve wine sales and membership acquisition goals.

Build relationships with members and ONEHOPE community, providing personalized communication and sales.

Contribute to community outreach efforts and industry partnerships.

Host guest tours of winery property while positively and enthusiastically sharing history about the wines and organization.

Assist and actively participate in winery private events including set up, breakdown, bottle service, bar service, etc. as directed.

Tasting Room Operations

Regular use of POS system and reservation platform (Commerce7, Shopify, Tock).

Regular use of Google Workspace.

Adhere to wine and supplies inventory and procedures.

Support back‑of‑house duties including glass washing, bussing, etc. as requested.

Maintain a clean and organized work and wine storage area.

Receive incoming phone calls as needed and confidently assist any guest service needs, reservation request, etc.

Follow daily operating procedures (open/close) and safety procedures.

Qualifications

College degree and 3‑5+ years experience in hospitality and sales.

Above average to advanced knowledge of wine varietals, winemaking, and viticulture. Certification in WSET or CMS is a bonus.

Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Must lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to physically perform wine opening and service duties.

Must be 21 years of age.
