What You’ll Get

Salary: $80,000 base salary

Performance Based Monthly Bonus: Opportunity to earn 20% monthly bonus

What You’ll Actually Do (No Corporate Fluff, We Promise)

Run the Show: Lead and mentor the Client Services Team. Your people look to you, and our property owners expect world‑class service. Deliver both. Reinforce a culture of ownership where team members take responsibility for resolving problems and completing tasks fully.

Be the Face of GC Realty: You’re not just managing properties, you’re protecting a brand that took 20+ years to build. Every interaction matters. Act like it.

Put Out Fires (Figuratively… Usually): When things escal, they land on your desk. Angry owner? Tricky tenant situation? You handle it with speed, clarity, and zero panic.

Follow the Money: Audit owner statements, track rental income, chase arrears. If the numbers don’t add up, you’re the one asking why.

Keep Clients and Win New Ones: Retention isn’t luck, it’s strategy. You’ll keep our current owners happy and help grow the portfolio at the same time.

⚖️ Know the Law (Or At Least Know It Better Than Most): Evictions, rental licensing, legal docs… Chicago doesn’t make compliance easy. Good thing you’re not looking for easy.

Play Well With Others: Leasing, Maintenance, Accounting… you’re the glue. If there’s friction between departments, you fix it before it becomes a problem.

What You’ll Bring (AKA Why We’d Actually Hire You)

You’ve Led Before: 3+ years managing a team in property management. Not “assisted.” Not “helped out.” Led. Big difference.

You Know the Game: Leasing, maintenance, rent collection… you don’t need a tutorial. You’ve lived it, and you could run it in your sleep (but please don’t). At least 5 years of Property Management experience required.

You Speak Building: HVAC, plumbing, maintenance budgets, CRLTO, CCRLTO… if those acronyms don’t scare you, you’re already ahead of 90% of applicants.

You Own It. All of It: No finger pointing. No “that’s not my job.” When something hits your plate, you grab it, run with it, and finish it with zero loose ends.

You Stay Cool When It Gets Loud: High volume, fast pace, and a dozen things on fire at once? That’s not stress to you. That’s a Tuesday.

️ You Can Talk to Anyone: Upset owner? Difficult conversation? You handle it with the kind of tact that turns a complaint into a compliment.

You’re Licensed: Active Illinois Broker’s license. Non‑negotiable. If you have to Google what that is, this isn’t the role for you.

You’ve Got the Paper: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but honestly, we care more about what you can do than where you went to school.
