Position Overview The Human Resources Consultant supports client compliance initiatives and assists in delivering contracted HR services. This role partners with clients and internal leadership to develop compliance documentation, provide HR guidance, assist with recruitment processes, and maintain consistent, responsive client communication. The position also serves as a liaison between clients and strategic partners to ensure seamless coordination of services.

Work Arrangement This is a full‑time, hybrid position reporting to our office in Omaha, NE.

Professional Responsibilities:

Partner with the Director of Human Resources and clients to support compliant HR practices aligned with applicable laws and regulations

Assist in the development, updating, and implementation of compliance-related documents, including employee handbooks, policies, and procedures

Serve as an HR resource for clients by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR policies

Support internal and client recruitment efforts, including drafting job postings, conducting initial candidate screenings, and coordinating interviews

Act as a liaison between clients and partner organizations to facilitate accurate and timely service delivery

Continuously review compliance materials to ensure alignment with current regulations and best practices

Provide prompt, professional responses to client inquiries via email and phone

Maintain organized, accurate documentation of client communications and projects

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience

Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation

Experience supporting HR compliance, employee benefits, or related functions

3–5 years of Human Resources experience (preferred)

Experience in employee benefits, HR consulting, or insurance industry environments (preferred)

Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)

Professional HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP) (preferred)

Strong understanding of core HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Detail-oriented with strong project coordination abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and HR-related software

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
