We are currently seeking a
Business Development Representative
to join our sales team based in
Madrid
to cover the regions of
DACH . This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry‑leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest‑growing sector.
Performance Objectives
Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of them.
Proactively seek new leads and business opportunities in the market.
Use Salesforce (CRM, sales engagement platform), cold calling, and emailing to generate new sales opportunities.
Set up meetings or calls between potential customers and sales executives.
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
Identify prospects’ needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
Report to the sales manager with weekly and monthly results and refine and/or update the local market situation.
Conduct market analysis (news, studies, reports) to update priorities and help with the POD strategy.
Engage in marketing activities (exploring beneficial events, associations, etc.) to boost awareness and find quality leads to manage a healthy pipeline.
Competitive Candidate Profile
C2 in English and German.
Prior experience is strongly desired, but not required.
Knowledge of DACH business culture is desired.
Cross‑cultural communication and high ethics code is required – we are a diverse company with 22+ nationalities.
Empathy and good communication skills via phone and email.
Ability to work under pressure during the most active sales seasons.
Ability to “read between the lines” and identify key pain points of potential customers.
High self‑discipline and ability to balance remote and on‑site work.
Desired Skills
Studies in Business and Engineering are positively valued.
C2 level in German.
Previous work experience in Solar PV industry, especially in DACH.
