In this position The Consumer Marketing Strategy Specialist will support the Consumer Marketing Strategy Manager in strategy development and planning for all Ford Consumer Marketing Communications, helping to align business objectives with marketing priorities. Goal is to contribute to the strategy and coordination of all marketing communications functions to achieve business and brand objectives.
Hybrid Role Requirements This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days onsite per week in Dearborn, MI.
Responsibilities What you'll do...
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Support development of annual marketing plans and strategic briefs aligned to business objectives and vehicle launches
Lead ad hoc strategy and research projects, providing recommendations and actionable insights for emerging business needs
Insights & Performance Analysis
Stay current on automotive industry trends and consumer behaviors, applying and communicating insights to inform marketing strategy across the broader consumer marketing team
Partner with Marketing Intelligence and Global Consumer Insights (GCI) to review reporting and extract actionable insights
Business Reviews & Agency Briefs
Support agency briefs and briefing processes to ensure strategic alignment and clear objectives
Prepare and support delivery of consumer marketing business review meetings and strategic presentations
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with marketing functional leads across social, creative, event, interactive, and retail service marketing to develop aligned plans
Facilitate communication and workflow between strategy, creative, and execution teams
Brand Stewardship & Execution
Ensure consistent application of brand and communication strategies across marketing initiatives
Cascade strategies to execution teams and serve as ongoing resource to support campaign development
Qualifications You'll have...
3-5 years of marketing communications experience, preferably in automotive, consumer products or brand marketing
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Even better, you may have...
A proven track record for coordinating and project leading marketing campaigns, brand strategy and marketing ops
Excellent technical skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point of view, persuasively make case for change, drive action
Overall business acumen and ability to develop innovative strategic and tactical actions

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360. This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
