We are seeking a Director to join our Boston office to support a wide range of client engagements, with a primary focus on antitrust matters, including antitrust matters in the healthcare space. In this role, you will serve as a senior leader on client engagements and a trusted point of contact for bothClients and Experts. Directorsare responsible forthe strategic design, execution, and oversight of complex projects, ensuring analytical rigor, clarity of communication, and consistency ofapproachacross all phases of an engagement. This role requires strong judgment, intellectual leadership, and full accountability for case outcomes and work product. Directors at Coherent think critically not only about their own work, but also about the analyses and conclusions developed by their teams. You will playa central rolein shaping case strategy, guiding methodological decisions, and drafting and reviewing expert reports andother deliverables. Directors are expected to anticipatechallenges, identify risks, andensure that allworkmeetsthe highest professional and technical standards. Successful candidates will bring advancedexpertisein project management, data analysis, and economic research, along with deep experience preparing and reviewing sophisticated, client-facing workproduct. Directorspossessa strong working knowledge of the economic consulting industry and are comfortable balancing analytical depth with practical, client-oriented solutions. In this role, you will also supervise and mentor Analysts and Consultants and foster the professional development of junior staff. Duties & Responsibilities

Project Ownership

Designandoverseemultipleanalysesandprojects Managetimeandcompanyresourceseffectivelyandefficiently Set project scope, analytical approach, and staffing plans in collaboration with senior leadership Data Analysis

Demonstrate fluency in programming and the ability to manipulate and analyze largescale datasets independently Thinkcriticallyabouttheeconomicandlegalissuesrelevanttoprojects Thinkcreativelyabouthowtoapplystandardeconomictoolsinnewwaystosolvenovelproblems EnsureStaffadherestobestpracticesincreatingandauditingworkproduct Expert Reports & Relationships

Manage Expert and Client relationships Draft and edit expert reports and other complex work product Serve as a strategic thought partner to Experts on case theory, structure, and presentation of opinions Ensure expert reports and related materials are pristine, well-documented, defensible and aligned with case strategy Serve as a Personnel Manager, providing effective feedback and guidance to direct reports Supervise Analysts and provide training, and mentorship Lead by examplefor performance,behavior, andcollaboration Culture

Participateinrecruitingandothernon-consultingactivities,asneeded EmbodyandmodelforotherstheCoherentEconomicsCoreandWorkplaceValues Qualifications

5-10years' experienceworking in economic consulting, playing a key role in the research and analytics on multiple cases PhD in economics (ideally with a focus in industrial organization) Experience working on antitrustmattersis required;experience inhealthcaremattersis aplus Previousmanagerial or mentorship experience preferred but notrequired ProficientinStata,Python,orasimilardataanalysisprogram Exceptionallydetailandprocess-orientedworkstyle Clear and effective communication, both verbally and in written communications Ableto commute to ourBostonoffice on Tuesdays and Thursdays Equal Opportunity and Nondiscrimination
