R0070662# **Description****Summary:**The Mortgage Sales Managing Director is responsible for production of mortgage lending originations through multiple channels. Oversees all aspects of the Home Lending mortgage origination salesforce for Retail Mortgage Lending, Consumer Direct Mortgage Lending, and Third-Party Lending. This includes new business development, production strategies, departmental budgeting, performance management, compensation plan design, and other administrative activities. This role does not serve as a loan originator or have personal production goals but may engage with consumers to address complaints or customer service-related issues.**Duties and Responsibilities:*** Managing direct reports (including Sales Managers and regional Sales Managers), handling customer issues, new business development, products, policies, budgeting, human resources issues, sales coaching and administration.* Manages and coaches' team to exceed set production goals.* Partners with retail branches to develop relationships and achieve cross sell goals.* Achieves management objectives for profit, volume, quality, compliance, cross sells, etc.* Adheres to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.* Follows, or in some cases establishes as required effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Basic Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree* 10+ years’ experience in Mortgage Sales and Sales Management* The selected individual must have strong team-building skills, local networking and recruitment sources as well as experience coaching and developing direct reports.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Proven ability to meet sales goals and quotas.* Proven experience in developing and maintaining positive inter-departmental relationships.* Proven leadership skills including exhibiting Huntington's core values.**Exempt Status: (Yes** = not eligible for overtime pay) (**No** = eligible for overtime pay)Yes**Workplace Type:**OfficeOur Approach to **Office** Workplace TypeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
