Massa Multimedia Architecture (MMA) is a multi-sector architectural firm with a strong presence in retail, mixed-use development, commercial markets, healthcare, and education (Pre‑K through Higher Ed).
PLEASE NOTE This position can be based in Neptune, New Jersey or Summerville, South Carolina and in-office hours are required. A hybrid workweek is possible after satisfactory completion of the new‑hire probationary period.
Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a skilled Architectural Job Captain—someone ready to take ownership of project coordination and design execution. You thrive on transforming concepts into detailed construction documents while collaborating closely with design teams, consultants, and clients. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, creative, and capable of managing multiple project phases, you’ll excel here. Your experience, ideas, and leadership will directly shape the success of our projects, helping drive exceptional outcomes.
Our team works with top Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries nationwide, contributing to all phases of projects—from conceptual design and production of construction documents, specifications and detailed drawings, to client engagement, marketing support, contractual management, and construction administration. Team members participate in site evaluations, stay current with building codes and zoning regulations, oversee reviews and approvals, and ensure quality control across all deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
Architectural registration preferred or in progress
High proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD for production and documentation
Experience in construction document preparation and field observation
Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
Specific work experience in Retail, Healthcare and Education design is a plus
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience
