
Experience Strategist

RxBenefits is looking for a strategist to plan, facilitate and build human-centered design artifacts across multiple customer types. The role is responsible for working cross-functionally across research, UX/UI design, product, technology and other stakeholders within the organization to set the vision and deliver meaningful customer experiences. As our company grows and embraces cutting-edge technologies, we need someone who desires to make a major impact on all aspects of a customer’s journey. The successful candidate will be an advocate for the customer and will take a user-centered approach when considering new ideas, products and strategies.

Primary Responsibilities
Creates visions and strategies for user types, leveraging primary and secondary research
Lead cross-functional teams in design workshops using human-centered and design thinking methodologies
Ideate and conceptualize future state experiences aligned to product strategies
Provide clear recommendations and roadmap for implementation
In partnership with designers and researchers, create strategic design deliverables such as current state journeys, visions of future experiences, and service design blueprints
Identifies gaps in understanding and creates a strategy to find the information needed to solve the problem (e.g., user research, internal data, competitive analysis)
Experience in service design strategy and delivery, with the ability to identify and build support for specific improvements throughout the customer journey and see through concepts to fruition
Identify new product opportunities and determine product market fit by understanding the users, brand and competitive landscape
Works with the business to gather the necessary data to make product recommendations and build business cases for new products and services
Effectively communicate ideas, information and complex concepts clearly and in a user-centered way, ensuring understanding among different audiences and stakeholders
Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, gaining buy-in for human-centered design and selling the value for the work being done to improve experience
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, design strategy, or equivalent related work experience
5-10+ years of demonstrated product strategy, experience design strategy, or digital strategy experience
Excellent communication skills, including the proven ability to build executive-level presentations and business cases for funding requests
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through an entire lifecycle of the human-centered design process
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about issues impacting an entire portfolio or business unit
Preferred Experience
Healthcare knowledge and experience
Human-centered design or design thinking certifications
Master’s degree in business, design strategy, or related field
Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $120,000-$145,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
