We are hiring immediately for an

Event Sales Trainee

– a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

The Sales Select, Trainee will support the Sales team by developing foundational sales administrative skills, gaining exposure to technical solutions, and learning operational support functions. This role provides hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM, and insight into the products and services offered, including power generation, temperature control, and electrical distribution. This role is a direct feeder role to an Outside Sales Representative for Aggreko, will undergo an extensive onboarding program, and will be assigned to a Sales mentor from the local Sales Team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, driven to achieve results, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Cold calling, prospecting, account management, presentation development (proposals and customer materials), closing deals

Track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders using Salesforce

Identify and engage with key decision-makers at event companies, production companies, and tent companies

Learn to effectively communicate Aggreko’s value proposition and actively promote our temporary event solutions, including power and temperature control systems, as a strategic advantage

Learn and apply technical product knowledge to support the sales process

Participate in customer account planning sessions and internal sales meetings

Work to actively close both warm and cold leads with goals to set customer appointments with an Outside Sales Representative

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field

Strong interest in sales, customer engagement, or technical services

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Willingness to travel

Key Performance Indicators / Learning Objectives

Gain proficiency in Salesforce CRM for sales tracking and customer relationship management

Develop foundational knowledge of power generation, temperature control, and electrical distribution products

Understand operational coordination required to deliver complex rental solutions

Build communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a commercial setting
