Social Services Director

Provide overall leadership for the agency and guide strategic planning, mission, and operational goals Reports directly to the Health and Human Services Director Collaborate with county leadership and community partners to address human service needs and implement programs Oversee agency operations, service delivery, and organizational performance Lead and manage staff, including supervision, hiring, development, and performance management Direct financial operations, including budgeting, contracts, procurement, and fiscal compliance Represent the agency in community engagement, partnerships, and public communication Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Perform additional duties as needed, including emergency or shelter operations support A master’s degree in social work and two years of supervisory experience in the delivery of client services; or a bachelor’s degree in social work and three years of supervisory experience in the delivery of client services, one of which must have been in Social Services; or graduation from a four year college or university and three years of supervisory experience in the delivery of client services, two of which must have been in Social Services; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
