Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Director based in the Grand Prairie, Texas DFW Area. The Pharmacy Director will oversee pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and develop strategies to improve services. Responsibilities include managing staff, optimizing pharmaceutical care, implementing effective pharmacy benefit management practices, and fostering strong collaboration with healthcare providers and facility administrators.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pharmacy Benefit Management and understanding of cost-effective medication therapies
- Extensive knowledge of Pharmacy Practice, including operational and compliance standards
- Proficiency in general Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent, with licensure to practice pharmacy
- Previous experience managing or directing pharmacy operations in a healthcare setting
- Proven track record managing large teams comprised of Pharmacist and Techs
