The Tulsa World, a Lee Enterprises company, seeks a full‑time, digitally savvy general assignment reporter to cover daily news — breaking news, public safety, police, etc. — in Tulsa and surrounding areas in northeastern Oklahoma. An understanding of digital storytelling, audience engagement, content management systems (CMS), social media and SEO content writing is necessary. This Tulsa‑based journalist position is hybrid and includes some night, weekend and holiday work, but we work with our reporters to make their schedules as flexible as possible. Key Responsibilities Build trusted relationships with sources and communities. Use digital trends, interviews, data, social media and original research to create daily cross‑platform news content Green Country audiences care about (investigations, data journalism).
