JOB SUMMARY
The Account Coordinator (AC) will work directly with Account Executives as part of a team and will be responsible for performing a number of high‑level duties and assisting with multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Relations or a related field, plus relevant internship experience. The candidate should be highly self‑motivated, organized, and professional, with superior writing skills and the ability to manage their workload and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have strong familiarity with various media outlets.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Managing daily media tracking, clipping, and compiling press reports
Assisting in client service, research, media relations, and strategy development to deliver integrated communications campaigns
Developing and maintaining media contact databases
Writing press kit documents, media alerts, pitch letters, bios, and other materials
Coordinating and attending photoshoots, television shoots, interviews, and other on‑site events
Monitoring trends and researching articles and suitable story opportunities/angles for clients
Pitching local media to secure coverage on behalf of clients
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Internship experience in public relations or a related field
Excellent writing skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong familiarity with various media outlets
