Shift: Day shift
8 hrs/ day
Shift start time - 9am, 12pm-1pm lunch
Shift end time - 5pm

Job Summary:
UX designer II will help contribute to software design solutions by creating UI elements, interaction patterns, and clickable prototypes for a new software platform.
The designer will integrate with cross-functional teams across all parts of Zebra's business, practicing design thinking and evangelizing a human-centered design approach to ensure Zebra's solutions offer a best-in-class experience for our customers.
The designer will look to support a variety of technical deliverables ranging from
workflow diagrams, wireframes, and pixel-perfect production UI specifications. They will have a more advanced understanding of production limitations around software technology and be able to clearly articulate their viewpoints when working with teams.
This is a hybrid position. You will be required to come to the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
3-month contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design customer-facing UI for a desktop-based cloud tool and mobile app
- Assist in evolution of design systems and component interaction design
- Create clickable prototypes of full user screen flows in Figma
- Deliver production-ready Figma files to web and app engineering team
- Participate actively in brainstorm meetings
- Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
- Stay on top of digital design trends and maintain best practices
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or certificate in HCI, design or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience (years): 2+ years professional experience as a User Experience or Product Designer.
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Must have portfolio that includes user-facing interaction design
• Proficiency in Figma
• Knowledge of design systems and creating components
• Comfortable with interaction design and ability to create prototypes
• Strong problem solving and communication skills for a streamlined process
• Strong understanding of web and mobile technology.
• Experience with automation systems and technology is a plus.
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies is a plus
