Overview
The Visual & Style Merchandiser is a creative responsible for executing the visual and stylistic direction across our portfolio of brands. This role is at the intersection of style, storytelling, trend and commerce – executing seasonal mood, color and trend direction, visual merchandising strategy and brand styling to drive customer connection and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Deliver the overall brand aesthetic – owning the look, tone and feel across all customer touchpoints for each brand in the portfolio.
Execute visual merchandising strategy, standards and execution across store environments to ensure a cohesive compelling customer experience that drives conversion and revenue.
Implement creative styling for photoshoots and store displays to reflect the unique identity of each brand.
Uphold brand identity standards to create consistency while allowing for creativity, trend evolution and simplification in store execution.
Utilize brand vision and standards toolkits, mood boards and visual playbooks to guide internal teams.
Qualifications
A creative with a deep understanding of visual storytelling, retail environments and consumer lifestyle trends.
Proven experience in home, lifestyle or fashion retail with a strong point of view on brand and style.
Able to shift seamlessly between high-level concepts and detailed execution.
Highly attuned to both creative quality and consumer impact to drive revenue growth.Curious self-educator who seeks information and asks questions
1+ years of visual merchandising, styling, brand identity or creative direction in a retail or consumer brand environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint & Excel required – AutoCAD knowledge a plus
Excellent communication presentation and leadership skills.
Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
Flexibility to work on off peak hours including weekends and overnights
Able to safely lift/move 50 lbs.
Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders
Able to travel
