Job Title Data Entry Specialist (Customer Service)
Location 2274 E. Muscat Ave, Fresno CA 93725, Fresno, CA
Classification Full‑Time / Non‑Exempt
Reports to Site Manager

$17 an hour, hourly. Includes potential for overtime.

Schedule Winter Hours: 9:00‑5:30 pm – Weekends required *
Summer Hours: 10:00‑6:30 pm – Weekends required *
Job Summary The Data Entry Specialist / Vehicle Purchasing Office Associate / DMV Clerk is responsible for delivering accurate, efficient support throughout the vehicle purchasing process. This role focuses on purchasing vehicles, reviewing and verifying all documentation for accuracy, and ensuring every required form is completed and signed correctly. You will provide dependable customer service while maintaining compliance and supporting smooth office operations
Primary Responsibilities
Verify ownership documents match VINs on the physical vehicle received and the documents comply with local, state and federal laws.
Schedule appointments with customers and/or contract tow vendors for vehicle pick‑ups.
Purchase all vehicles delivered to the store, in accordance with laws and company policy.
Receive the vehicles delivered daily into the data entry system.
Issue payments for vehicles and tows while maintaining and managing the daily check summary.
Organize, maintain, and retain copies/files as necessary.
Monitor and respond to incoming and outgoing telephone calls and faxes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in general computer skills (data entry and e‑mail).
Friendly and enjoy communicating with customers and vendors.
Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including overtime.
Bilingual Spanish (desired, not required).
Prior experience processing auto purchase or DMV documents (desired, not required).
Job Conditions
Exposure to outdoors / weather conditions when you must go outside into the yard.
Regular sitting, standing, bending and walking as needed to provide proper customer service and to complete vehicle receiving duties.
