Virtual Management Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Quoting Specialist to support our team by preparing accurate and competitive commercial insurance quotes across multiple carriers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within an independent insurance agency or brokerage, understands the commercial insurance quoting process, and can confidently navigate carrier portals and rating systems. In this role, you will work closely with agents and producers to compare coverage options, submit applications, and ensure quotes meet client requirements. This is a full-time remote position for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to contribute immediately with minimal training in a fast-paced environment.
Commercial Insurance Quoting Policy Coverage Analysis (GL, BOP, WC, Commercial Auto) Insurance Application & Submission Processing Attention to Detail & Documentation Management Responsibilities
Prepare and obtain commercial insurance quotes from multiple carriers
Review client information and submit applications to appropriate insurance companies
Compare coverage options, pricing, and policy terms across carriers
Work closely with agents or producers to deliver accurate and competitive quotes
Ensure quotes meet client coverage requirements and underwriting guidelines
Maintain organized records of quotes, submissions, and carrier responses
Communicate with insurance carriers when needed to clarify underwriting requirements or request additional information
Assist with documentation and quote preparation to support the insurance team
Must Have
Proven experience quoting insurance policies within an independent insurance agency or brokerage
Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies such as General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Business Owner’s Policy (BOP), Commercial Auto, and Umbrella or Excess Liability
Familiarity with carrier portals and insurance quoting platforms
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
