Resident Engagement Coordinator
Job Location Walton Woodstock & Walton Centennial
Reports to Community Manager at Woodstock West by Walton & Walton Centennial
Schedule Full-time (approximately 20 hours per week per community). Weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Position Summary To be an ambassador of and to promote the vision of Walton Communities to residents and guests. To strengthen and enhance the resident experience and build community by fostering:
Healthy Relationships (Helping residents get to know each other and get connected)
Rich Experiences (Quality events – On site and within the community at large)
Generosity (Connecting residents to the needs of our community through volunteering)
Local Community (Seeking opportunities for residents to engage with broader community)
Social Presence (Providing fun and interactive social media engagement)
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain standard of excellence for all programs.
Responsible for planning a variety of activities, events, and programs that add value to the resident experience.
Engage residents and encourage participation.
Host events the “Walton Way” – ensuring events are well thought out to surprise and delight our guests.
Events to be advertised systematically and frequently through a variety of avenues – emails, etc.
Enlist the participation of team members and ensure they are well informed of upcoming opportunities to serve their residents.
Maintain a positive and engaging social media presence for Facebook, Instagram, and RentCafe.
Procure and manage our resident gift programs; move-in, renewal, move-out.
Welcome new residents to the community with a personal contact, either by phone or in person.
Creatively meet resident needs as made aware – dinner for someone who is sick, birthday cards, etc.
Identify new partnership opportunities and build on existing partnerships within the local community.
Work to establish reciprocal benefits – opportunities for our residents to serve the community and for the community to serve our residents.
Keep residents informed of and engaged in Atlanta events and programs.
Purchase supplies for community needs and events, as needed.
Meet regularly with Community Managers to ensure objectives are being met. All events and activities must receive manager approval before they are publicized or hosted.
Establish and maintain a set time for office hours.
Offer concierge level service to help connect residents to local resources.
Wear Walton Communities uniform and name tag, as provided.
Host 2-3 community events/month and organize 1 volunteer opportunity per quarter.
