Complete Children’s Health is looking for a
creative, curious, and social-media-savvy Marketing Intern
to help tell the story of our pediatric practice. If you enjoy designing graphics, creating videos, organizing content, and learning how marketing works in the real world, this could be a great fit.
Bonus: your work will help families and kids across Lincoln.

We have
four locations across Lincoln
and a team of more than
130 employees , including physicians, advanced practice providers, psychologists, nurses, and administrative professionals.
THE OPPORTUNITY This is a
hands-on internship
where you’ll gain real experience in digital marketing, content creation, and brand management.
You’ll help ensure that everything families see –
online and in our clinics
– reflects the quality, professionalism, and warmth of the care we provide.
This role works closely with our HR Director while supporting marketing initiatives across
all four clinic locations .
We’re ideally looking for a
local marketing or business student interested in a 1–2 year internship
who wants meaningful, resume-building experience. Hours will be flexible and most work can be completed remotely!
WHAT YOU’LL DO As our Marketing Intern, you’ll support both
digital marketing efforts and in-clinic brand presentation .
Projects may include:
Creating images and writing messaging for
digital signs, posters around the clinic, and website content
Helping maintain a
content calendar
aligned with seasonal health topics and practice announcements for our website
Creating
short-form videos, educational posts, and practice highlights
aligned with CCH’s mission and specialty services including well-child care, adolescent health, behavioral health, dermatology, lactation, and the SHINE Clinic
Filming and editing short videos
featuring providers, staff, and clinic locations
Reviewing and updating the
visual presentation of patient-facing materials
such as brochures, flyers, signage, forms, and educational handouts to ensure consistent design and brand alignment (This role focuses on presentation and formatting — not medical content.)
Refreshing internal templates
such as letterhead, PowerPoint templates, and Word documents to improve consistency and usability
Updating formatting on CCH-created forms and handouts (removing outdated logos, fixing spacing, and improving layout)
Organizing and maintaining brand materials
within an internal system developed by our administrative team so files are easy to find and consistently used
Monitoring social media engagement and compiling
basic performance summaries
All content involving patients or minors requires
signed photo/video release authorization , which will be strictly followed.
THIS INTERNSHIP IS GREAT FOR YOU IF
You’re currently studying
Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field
You’re a
self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of projects
You’re comfortable working
independently and receiving feedback
You enjoy
social media, video creation, photography, or digital storytelling
You have experience with
video editing tools
You’re familiar with
Canva
You have a strong eye for
design consistency and visual presentation
You’re organized and able to
manage multiple projects at once
You’re excited to
bring new ideas and teach us a thing or two about digital marketing
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
This is
not a clinical role
and does not involve access to patient health information.
We anticipate this role requiring
~10 hours of work a week
with room for growth.
The role will initially include
some in-person time at our clinics , but will transition to remote work once projects and systems are established.
You’ll occasionally visit our
four Lincoln locations
for filming, photography, or reviewing materials.
This role reports to the
Director of Human Resources .
