Parts Counterperson
Pugmire Automotive Group is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Parts Counterperson to support our service and retail operations. This role is responsible for assisting customers and internal teams with parts sales, inventory management, and order fulfillment—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the parts sales process from inquiry to fulfillment
Assist retail customers and internal service teams with parts needs
Locate and source parts not currently in inventory
Process and track special orders accurately
Maintain clear, timely communication with customers on order status
Collaborate with Parts Manager and Service Team to ensure operational flow
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization
Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred (Ford experience a plus)
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts identification
Ability to quickly assess needs and provide accurate solutions
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership systems
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent required
