About the Role We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Design Assistant to join our Menswear team. This role provides hands-on experience in all stages of the design process—from concept development to sample production—offering a unique opportunity to learn within a fast-paced fashion environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design team in developing seasonal collections, including sketches, CADs, and colour palettes.
Own the fabric sourcing process — identify, contact, and liaise with suppliers to request swatches, evaluate quality, and manage the material library.
Set up and maintain detailed tech packs (including measurements, construction details, trims, and materials) for handoff to production.
Support in fit sessions and sample reviews, documenting feedback and ensuring changes are clearly communicated.
Collaborate with the production and merchandising teams to ensure design integrity and timelines are maintained.
Maintain and organize sample racks, fabric archives, and design documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a
degree/diploma in Fashion Design or a related field .
Strong understanding of
garment construction ,
fabrics , and
trends .
Proficiency in
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign .
Excellent
attention to detail ,
organization , and
time management
skills.
A proactive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
