The Role Oxbow Electric is seeking a skilled, reliable
Residential Electrician
to join our team in Evansville. We take pride in providing top-tier service to our local community, and we need a professional who can lead high-quality installations, troubleshoot complex issues, and represent our company with integrity on every job site.

Key Responsibilities
Residential Service & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical issues in single-family homes and multi-family units.
New Construction & Remodels: Handle full-service upgrades, rough-ins, and trim-outs according to the latest NEC standards.
Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly with homeowners to explain repairs, provide estimates, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and "on-the-tool" training for apprentices.
Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets or exceeds local codes and safety regulations.
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on residential electrical experience.
Licensure: Must hold a valid Vanderburgh County Electrical License (Journeyman or Master).
Reliability: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you will be operating a company vehicle).
Technical Skills
Expertise in residential wiring
Deep understanding of NEC
Experience with smart home integration, EV charger installations, and panel swaps.
Ability to read and interpret residential blueprints and schematics.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $32+ per hour, based on experience and license level.
Vehicle: Take-home company service van (fully stocked).
Benefits: Health insurance, Retirement fund
Tools: Company-provided specialized equipment (testers, ladders, benders).
