We’re seeking a Visual Merchandising Designer to support a leading retail company’s innovative design team. Located in New York City, this hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to inspiring store environments with a global brand.
Visual Merchandising Designer Responsibilities:
Collaborate on the development and execution of creative visual concepts aligned with brand strategy, guiding projects through various phases from conception to completion.
Support the creation of presentation materials showcasing innovative design ideas and concepts for retail environments.
Assist in developing detailed merchandising and technical guidelines to assist regional design teams.
Review technical drawings and vendor flow to ensure design accuracy and compliance with brand standards.
Contribute to seasonal store visits in the local region to stay informed on current trends and store experience innovations.
Visual Merchandising Designer Qualifications:
Over 3 years of experience in industrial design, visual merchandising, store planning, or related fields.
Strong ability to translate ideas into spatial designs and interpret design directions effectively.
Familiarity with retail environment design, particularly in FSS, DS, Open Sell, and SMC settings.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working independently under guidance.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and 3D modeling/rendering software.
