Marketing Communications Specialist (North America)
Location:
Remote (Candidates must be local to Richmond, VA or within VA, MD, or DC region) Travel:
Approximately 5–10% (monthly onsite meetings in Richmond, VA) Schedule:
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Position Overview The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the North America segment marketing communications team in executing key initiatives for protective apparel product lines. This role focuses on
coordinating and executing marketing communications activities , ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate thrives in a
fast-paced environment , can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and works effectively across
marketing, digital, and sales teams . This position offers strong exposure to marketing communications strategy and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and lead projects over time.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Communications Execution
Support execution of the North America marketing communications plan in partnership with the Marketing Communications Lead
Assist Channel Marketing with co-branding initiatives, including development of co-branded content and advertising materials
Oversee development and updates of marketing collateral, including:
Product catalogs
Swatchbooks
Product and industry overview sheets
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate project timelines and deliverables with external agencies and vendors
Manage internal review and feedback processes across stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with marketing objectives
Digital Marketing Support
Execute North America email marketing calendar, including writing email copy and coordinating scheduling with digital marketing teams
Partner with digital teams to update website content and develop new webpages aligned with marketing initiatives
Event & Trade Show Support
Provide tactical support for trade shows and events, including:
Booth layout coordination
Material preparation and logistics
Registration and lead capture setup
On-site or remote event support as needed
Content & Asset Management
Upload and organize content within sales enablement platforms (e.g., MediaValet, Showpad, Resource Center)
Maintain proper file organization and accessibility for internal teams
Content Production Support
Assist with product photoshoots and video content creation as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with external agencies or vendors
Copywriting experience
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
