
Product Support Sales Representative
McCoy Construction & Forestry, Bowling Green, KY, United States
McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Product Support Sales Representative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
External (Customer Focused) sales/support position.
Using the benefits of technology, strategically focus on incremental revenue opportunities that support both parts and service strategic fiscal objectives.
Make field related purpose‑built customer calls to follow up on Product Support opportunities and provide leads for Parts and Service Department.
Fully utilize McCoy’s customer relationship management (CRM).
Actively promote Preventative Maintenance Contracts (PM’s) or Total Maintenance and Repair Contracts (TMR’s).
Provide customer training, follow up calls and create customer digital partnerships.
Proactively monitor JDLINK data, promote and maintain machine connectivity along with the sale of Universal Telematics Devices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular onsite attendance as required by your supervisor.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
Degree preferred and/or applicable experience in an Engineering/Technology/Marketing discipline.
Minimum of 5 years related equipment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated sales and marketing skill. Understanding of the principles, apply the information to complex situations, develop new applications and provide expert support for other practitioners.
Knowledge of products and services offered, good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Be customer focused, write clearly and concisely, and analyze effectively.
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time within your AOR with some overnight stays included.
