About the Role You are the execution engine for your assigned client accounts. You own the content calendar, the copy, the paid setup, and the campaign rollout. You translate strategic direction into platform-specific plans, write the words that represent our clients, and drive the day-to-day output that keeps accounts performing.

Your lane is clear: plan, write, direct, and optimize. You shouldn’t be caught up in defining the overarching strategy or audiences, or the logistics of posting content, community management, or reporting.

You will manage a portfolio of 15–20 client accounts across multiple social platforms. The volume is real. You need to write fast, write well, and keep multiple calendars moving without bottlenecking creative or Coordinators downstream.

Key Responsibilities Content Planning & Calendar Management

Write and maintain the monthly content calendar for each assigned client, aligned to content pillars and strategic direction.

Draft all social media copy: captions, ad copy, promotional messaging, and campaign hooks.

Translate strategy into platform-specific execution plans (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Business Profile).

Manage at-need or reactive content requests as they arise. Adapt fast without losing calendar momentum.

Creative Direction & Collaboration

Write creative briefs for the Content Coordinator and Graphic Designers. Be specific about what you need and why.

Work with the Content Coordinator and designer on asset needs, ensuring visuals match the copy and strategic intent.

Ensure every piece of content is on-brand, platform-appropriate, and tied to a clear objective.

Spearhead project-specific social deliverables: launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns.

Paid Social Setup & Direction

Set up post boosting budgets and audience creation as directed by strategic frameworks.

Provide direction for boosting priorities based on content performance and client goals.

Oversee paid campaign rollout across channels, ensuring paid and organic work together.

Performance & Optimization

Monitor performance across assigned accounts. Identify what’s working and what needs to change.

Identify optimization opportunities and course-correct without waiting to be asked.

Provide monthly performance insights to the Team Lead. Not just what happened — what it means and what’s next.

Coordinate with Account Management on client communication, feedback loops, and scope alignment.

Team Coordination

Brief and direct Social Media Coordinators on posting schedules, community management tone, and boost execution.

Ensure Coordinators have everything they need to execute: approved copy, finalized assets, and clear posting instructions.

Participate in client meetings as the social media subject matter expert for your accounts.

What Success Looks Like

Your clients’ content calendars are always current, approved, and never the bottleneck.

Your copy is sharp, on-brand, and produced at volume without sacrificing quality.

Your briefs are clear enough that the Content Creators, Designers, and Coordinators execute without guessing or circling back.

You operate proactively: surfacing ideas, catching problems early, pushing accounts forward.

You spend zero time on posting logistics, community replies, or report formatting.

Your accounts show measurable performance improvement because the work is intentional, not just on time.

Qualifications

3+ years in social media marketing with a strong portfolio of copywriting work.

Experience managing content calendars across multiple accounts simultaneously.

Working knowledge of paid social setup (Meta Ads Manager required; Google and TikTok preferred).

Strong writing skills. You can write 20 captions in a morning and they’re all good.

Analytical mindset. You use data to inform decisions, not just to fill slide decks.

Experience in franchise, QSR, or multi-location marketing is a plus.

Comfort working at pace across multiple accounts with competing deadlines.
