
VP, OEM Sales

The VP of OE Sales will be responsible for leading and managing our sales efforts to drive top and bottom-line growth and to achieve revenue targets and EBITDA in year budget including but not limited to developing senior level relationships with our OEM customers, management of all sales staff, creating, and implementing the sales and expense budget, forecasting, development of sales promotions, programs, leading internal key indicates and projects and helping to drive customer strategies and planning initiatives. This position will work closely with the plant general manager to set and achieve goals to meet customer expectations. This position will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, building, coaching, and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
CORE FUNCTIONS AND TEAM RESPONSIBILITY

Develop and execute annual budget, forecasts, business plan, and sales strategy for multiple brands that ensure attainment of corporate sales goals and profitability.
Lead, motivate, and manage all aspects of the sales team from leadership, new customer development, training, providing guidance and coaching, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to guide the achievement of sales targets and objectives, including project management, engineering, finance, product management, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and maximize potential.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and challenges.
Travel regularly via automobile and airplane to visit OE customer sites, Trade Shows, and assigned events (some weekends may be required).
Attend to detail, understanding facts and figures associated with our customer-related P&L, and translation of customer expectations to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop, maintain, and present customer programs, policies, and promotional activities.
Develop new product launch programs.
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently, and approving all sales-related expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required.
10+ years of outside sales experience and senior management preferred in the automotive segment.
Clear command and knowledge of the OEM systems, processes, and hierarchy.
Extensive experience in developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share.
