Fund Financing Relationship Manager

The Fund Financing business at Piermont provides innovative fund-level financing in the form of capital call / subscription facilities collateralized by the uncalled capital of a fund's limited partners. The business forms an integral part of Piermont Bank's Innovation Banking, where the bank focus on serving the fintech ecosystem. As the Fund Financing Relationship Manager you will be a cornerstone of this group, handling already established relationships while growing new relationships across the space. Responsibilities
As the Fund Financing Relationship Manager, your main responsibility is the development of the Fund Financing business and its clients, along with the structuring, execution and management of Fund Financing facilities. Demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge in both core and Fund Financing products and services. Oversee preparation of consolidated credit and portfolio information. Drive profitability by ensuring the credit and financial impact of all business decisions (including pricing) is independently evaluated and recommendations made to the business to mitigate any financial risks. Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, credit-related field. Five plus years' relevant work experience (e.g., lending, underwriting, credit, portfolio management) and a strong fundamental understanding fund finance. Origination track record preferred. A strong knowledge of financial accounting, financial analysis and the principles of secured lending. Transaction and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of Bank personnel and customers. Must be able to effectively articulate views both within the Bank and externally in the marketplace. Ability to form effective client relationships. Established credit, industrial, and risk acumen. Proven ability to prioritize competing demands. The hiring range for this position is $180,000 to $225,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
