We are seeking a
Sales and Operations Manager
to lead our plumbing service and sales operations in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role combines sales leadership, operational oversight, and field engagement to drive revenue growth and exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate understands the plumbing industry, thrives in a customer-facing environment, and has the ability to lead service technicians while actively participating in sales presentations and field opportunities.
This individual will also support business operations including payroll review, bank deposit oversight, CRM management (ServiceTitan), and performance leadership of service technicians.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Leadership & Business Development
Conduct in-home and onsite plumbing sales presentations for customers.
Support technicians in identifying and closing service and replacement opportunities.
Develop and execute strategies to grow plumbing service and installation revenue.
Train technicians on ethical selling, customer communication, and service excellence.
Monitor sales performance metrics and coach team members to achieve revenue targets.
Field Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage plumbing service technicians.
Provide hands‑on field support, ride‑alongs, and training.
Maintain high standards for quality workmanship and safety compliance.
Operations Management
Manage daily operations of the plumbing service department.
Review payroll for service technicians and office staff.
Oversee daily bank deposits and financial documentation.
Ensure efficient job scheduling, dispatch coordination, and job completion.
CRM & Technology
Manage and optimize use of ServiceTitan CRM and field service software.
Track KPIs including:
Average ticket
Conversion rates
Maintain accurate job records, customer data, and reporting.
Customer Experience
Handle customer escalations and service recovery when necessary.
Ensure the company maintains a reputation for professional, reliable plumbing services.
Build long‑term relationships with residential and commercial customers.
Strategic Growth
Identify opportunities for service expansion and operational improvement.
Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and profitability.
Promote a growth mindset culture within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS Required
Experience in the plumbing or home services industry
Strong sales and customer service skills
Experience leading or managing service technicians
Ability to conduct in‑home sales presentations
Experience with CRM systems (ServiceTitan preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Financial awareness including payroll and deposits
Preferred

Knowledge of field service sales strategies
