Pilot Property Management is a locally owned company managing more than 1,100 apartment units throughout the greater Seattle area. Spring and summer are our busiest leasing seasons, and we’re looking for a
Seasonal Leasing Agent to join our team now through the end of August , with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is self‑motivated, enjoys working with people, and is interested in gaining hands‑on experience in residential property management. Prior leasing or property management experience is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate who is new to the industry.
This is a highly mobile, field‑based role. Leasing Agents travel between the office and multiple property locations throughout the greater Seattle area every day to conduct tours, inspect units, and coordinate move‑ins. Candidates must be comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday driving between properties and must have a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
Schedule & Location
Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Schedule may vary based on tour volume, move‑ins, and operational needs
Based out of our office near Fremont (Seattle), with daily travel between managed properties across the greater Seattle metro area
Daily use of a personal vehicle is required

The Role As the first point of contact for potential residents, Leasing Agents are the face of Pilot Property Management. Successful Leasing Agents are professional, organized, and provide high‑level customer service aligned with our company values.
Although Leasing Agents are assigned specific units and properties, we work collaboratively as a team to ensure positive resident experiences, strong leasing performance, and smooth move‑ins during our busiest season.
A typical day includes advertising available apartments, responding to inquiries, scheduling and conducting tours, processing applications, and coordinating apartment turns in partnership with our maintenance and property management teams. Beyond leasing, this role supports the broader property management team with a variety of operational and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities & Duties
Advertise and inspect available apartments
Respond quickly and professionally to all prospective resident inquiries
Schedule and conduct apartment tours with a strong focus on closing leases
Maintain accurate guest cards and up‑to‑date availability records
Process rental applications and proactively follow up with prospects
Coordinate apartment readiness prior to move‑in (maintenance and cleaning)
Respond promptly to service requests and schedule necessary work
Maintain accurate resident files in accordance with company policies
Travel daily to a variety of managed properties to conduct apartment tours, inspections, and move‑ins
Coordinate access and on‑site logistics across multiple property locations
Manage time efficiently while moving between properties throughout the day
Learn and follow all Federal, State, and local Fair Housing laws (training provided)
Foster a safe and healthy work environment, including reporting unsafe conditions
Assist Property Managers and the Property Management Team with resident communication, renewals, posting notices, inspections, vendor coordination, and special projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Prior leasing or property management experience strongly preferred
2+ years of customer service, sales, or related experience
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle (required)
Ability to travel daily between properties across the Seattle metro area
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Comfortable using email, scheduling software, and mobile apps
Must have a smartphone with data plan and be willing to use company‑approved apps
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Calm and professional under pressure
Self‑motivated, reliable, and open to feedback
Ability to understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and company policies
Mobility & Travel Requirements
Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle (required)
Ability and willingness to travel daily to multiple property locations across the greater Seattle metro area
Comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday driving between sites
Strong time‑management skills to arrive on time to appointments at different locations
Mileage is reimbursed for work‑related travel
Compensation
$21.50 - 24.50/hour, depending on experience
Up to $175 commission per new lease completed (Agents close an average of 8-10 leases/month)
Mileage reimbursement for work‑related travel
Company-paid comprehensive health insurance (medical, vision, and dental coverage), starting first of the month after hire
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with 4% company match (after 90 days)
Company-paid Long Term Disability Insurance (after 90 days)
