Job Summary At Mountain America, the Member Service Representative recognizes and meets member needs by providing quality service through transactions and cross‑selling products and services to help our Members achieve their financial dreams. This is a role used to train and onboard team members before being placed at an assigned location based on region and location needs.

Job Description Location Spanish Fork Branch 1308 N Canyon Creek Pkwy Spanish Fork, UT 84660

Payson Branch 818 S. State St. Payson, UT 84651

Schedule Part Time; Monday–Friday hours vary between 8:40 am–6:15 pm; Saturdays at Payson 8:40 am–2:15 pm.

Flexibility needed; 20–25 hours per week

*Day off during the week when a Saturday is worked*

Member Focus

Builds and maintains relationships with members through conversations in person and over the phone.

Provides quality service by assessing, advising, and assisting membership.

Recognizes member needs and cross‑sells products and services via a consultation approach.

Educates members about MACU products and services.

Consistently focuses on increasing member satisfaction and account retention.

Expected to meet production goals as a representation to help our members.

May follow up with members on product referrals (e.g., warm calling).

Uses lead lists to make outbound efforts (cold calling) to existing members to provide additional consultation on MACU products and services.

Greets all members professionally.

Cash Transactions

Accurately maintains cash drawer.

Processes transactions efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Assists in opening and closing procedures of the branch.

Responsible for branch security, including vault combinations, security codes, and member information.

Other Responsibilities

Represents the credit union professionally in dress and behavior.

Keeps work area neat and clean.

Responds to email, voicemail, missed calls, and other communications in a timely manner.

Actively completes product knowledge courses.

Travel may be required.

Complies with all regulations required by law.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience At least six months of customer service experience.

Education High school diploma or equivalent.

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, Trainings

A valid driver’s license is required.

Thorough knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and regulations.

Ability to prepare loan documents and cross‑sell financial services of the credit union to ensure quality service.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication.

Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms consistently.

Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch occasionally.

Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).

Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).

Weight Lifted or Force Exerted Ability to lift up to 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Noise Environment Moderate noise (business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
