Customer Service Representative 1
Position Type:
Hourly + Performance-Based Bonus
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern time
Reports to:
Customer Service Manager
Summary/Objective The Customer Service Representative 1 role is responsible for receiving and entering orders from our customers and coordinating with sales, supply chain, accounting, and other departments to ensure superior customer service.

Maintain continuous communication with sales agents, production planning, and customers to ensure timely deliveries of quality products to meet customers' needs
Process customer orders, changes, and returns according to company policies
Work closely with accounts receivable team to maintain customer credit limits
Process new customers, including credit approval and establish new accounts
Ensure customer sign-off for orders, specs, and other required documents
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of customer service experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Working knowledge of Office Suite
Previous customer database experience and order entry
