Position: Editor
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$115/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: High numbers of hours available

Role Responsibilities

• Design questions related to your occupation as an Editor.
• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Ensure access to a desktop or laptop computer for project work.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years full-time work experience as an Editor.
• Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.

Compensation & Legal

• At-will contractor to Mercor.
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged project work hours.
• Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
