Program Director – ARF Administrator

Position Type: Full‑time, exempt, salaried supervisor role.

Program/Location: CCF Group Home; Northridge, CA

Population: Adults with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges

Pay: Annual $70,304 salary‑exempt

Schedule: Mon‑Fri daytime hours + on‑call 24/7; full‑time 40 hours/week

Summary

Responsible for managing the services delivered and operation of programs.

Scope of Role

  • Oversee organization and implementation of direct supports, person‑centered planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management: recruitment & hiring, meetings & training, employee scheduling, performance evaluation, coaching, discipline, termination, employee safety.
  • Program Management: program planning, records, team meetings, compliance, management of individuals’ assets, stakeholder relations, government relations, incident management.
  • Health Care: appointments, medications, medical supplies and equipment, dietary planning.
  • Financial Management: purchasing, billing and utilization, growth.
  • Census Management: census performance, referrals, placements.
  • Maintenance: vehicles, housekeeping, repair.
  • Other duties: backfill roles under supervision, on‑call support, cover shifts as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages Direct Support Professionals, Program Supervisors and other staff. Completes performance evaluations, orientation, training, and makes staffing decisions while resolving employee problems within position responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Preferred experience with severely challenging behaviors and behavior de‑escalation.
  • One year or more in a supervisory role.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Valid CA driver’s license in good standing and at least one year driving history in any US state.
  • Reliable vehicle with proof of valid CA registration and insurance.
  • Preferred ARF Administrator certification for CCF home.
  • Required DSP Year 1 and DSP Year 2 certifications.

Work Environment

  • Program Director works at the program location(s) they oversee, serving residential, vocational, or in‑home settings.

Other Requirements

  • Travel as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Medium work: can exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
