Director of Product, Platform Intelligence

Medium, WorkFromHome, KS, United States

In Achievers we are building the intelligence layer on top of the world's leading employee recognition platform. Our platform data captures peer-validated, real-time signals about individuals, teams, and organizations.

You will report to the VP of Product Management and work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

This role requires deep experience in core product management. Successful candidates will have directly led Product teams and owned product strategy. It is not intended for transitions from project management, data science, or other adjacent disciplines.

Why you'll love this role:

  • This isn’t a role focused on maintaining the status quo. It’s about raising the bar and setting the standard for excellence and customer focus in the analytics space.
  • Lead the next chapter of our evolution: help us build the future of our platform intelligence, anchoring growth and customer impact in innovation, speed, and scale.
  • Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of Product Managers and Designers. Develop and inspire excellence through coaching and regular feedback.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Join our team of A-players who bring passion to our purpose and believe that meaningful change creates extraordinary outcomes - together, we’ll inspire recognition everywhere and achieve results that matter.
  • At Achievers, we hire you for you because we value the unique perspective and individuality that each person brings to our team. We are committed to creating an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace where you belong, and your contributions are celebrated.

How you'll shape our Platform Intelligence:

Product Leadership and Roadmap Delivery

  • Define and maintain a unified product vision across three related workstreams.
  • Oversee design, development and delivery of analytics strategy.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and iteration.
  • Establish and track product KPIs to guide investment decisions and communicate progress to leadership.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Science teams treating data quality, model and integrations as product concerns, not just infrastructure concerns.
  • Co‑own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and KPIs aligned to customer needs, performance, conversion, revenue and operational efficiency.
  • Champion a data‑driven approach to prioritization and decision‑making.
  • Monitor the enterprise AI landscape closely to make concrete product, positioning and prioritization decisions.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to inform product strategy.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of product managers and designers.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Experience we feel will set you up for success:

  • Must have: You have led product teams building analytics, intelligence, or data‑driven experiences in B2B SaaS.
  • You have held a formal people‑leadership role (e.g., Director, Group PM, Head of Product) managing Product Managers and Designers and shaping product strategy. This role requires leading teams, not just influencing or leading projects.
  • You thrive in accelerated growth environments, enjoy solving enterprise‑scale customer and operational challenges, and are passionate about uniting teams.
  • You are comfortable owning API and contracts alongside user‑facing functionality. You understand and can articulate what usability means for both.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • You communicate clearly across engineering, executives, and go‑to‑market, and you can hold a product vision without losing sight of what ships next quarter.
  • You understand how a scaled product organization works together, where the output of other teams is your input and your teams output influences their team roadmaps.
  • Passion for leading and mentoring high‑performance teams.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in HR tech, workforce analytics, or employee engagement is not required but highly advantageous.
