Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Virginia Beach, VA | Outpatient Sports & Spine Full-Time Interest Encouraged | Start Part-Time (~2025 hrs) and Grow to Full-Time Thrive Proactive Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient sport and spine private practice. This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working with an active population and wants more than repetitive protocols. You'll work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary clinic that blends Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage, and Fitness
with a strong emphasis on biomechanics and Postural Restoration principles. We are open to starting part-time (approximately 2025 hours/week) with a structured pathway to full-time as caseload grows. Full-time interest is encouraged to apply. Active Virginia PTA License required. Compensation
$30$36/hour depending on experience Opportunity for performance-based increases as caseload and contribution grow What You'll Do
Deliver therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Review plans of care and execute progressive treatment strategies Monitor patient response and communicate changes to supervising PT Support progression of exercise programs and functional retraining Maintain timely documentation within required standards Contribute to positive patient experience and retention Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers when appropriate What Makes This Different
