Responsibilities & Leadership

The Hospital RN Magnet Director champions the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program end to end, advances shared governance, integrates evidence‑based practice, translates NDNQI insights, and lifts safety, quality, and experience across care settings. The role chairs the Magnet Steering Committee, curates exemplars, prepares ANCC documentation, delivers Magnet‑aligned education, and implements safety processes within a supportive culture of friendly nurses and a diverse, collaborative care team.

Qualifications: a Master’s in Nursing, active NY RN license, prior Magnet leadership in a designated facility, excellent communication and writing, and strong project/tech skills, with specialty certification preferred.
