LB Contract Supply is a specialty construction partner serving the finished construction market from Carrollton, Texas and Madison, Wisconsin. We install window coverings, storefront and interior glass, curtain wall, fabric and acoustic wall systems, moss walls, banquette seating, and other specialty finish products for commercial projects. Our team works closely with general contractors and project teams to deliver quality installations with strong coordination, dependable execution, and attention to detail.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Carrollton, TX for a Director of Product Development. The Director of Product Development is responsible for expanding the company’s service offerings and building bundled specialty construction packages that increase revenue per project and strengthen relationships with general contractors.
This role identifies new product lines, develops vendor relationships, builds estimating models, and creates installation systems that allow the company to deliver multiple specialty scopes efficiently.
The Director works cross-functionally with sales, estimating, and operations to ensure new product lines can be bid competitively and installed profitably.
This position plays a key role in transforming the company from a single-scope subcontractor into a bundled specialty contractor platform.

What this role will do
- Build strategic relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and product reps
- Secure pref, - erred pricing, training resources, and technical support
Identify, evaluate, and launch new specialty construction scopes such as:
- Evaluate market demand and negotiate supply agreements
- Build pricing structures and labor models
- Bundle new scopes with existing offerings
- Develop bundled solutions for:
- Create standardized scope packages that increase project revenue, simplify estimating, and reduce vendor fragmentation
- Partner with estimating to build templates, productivity assumptions, cost databases, and proposal standards
- Work with project management and field teams to develop installation playbooks, standardize processes, identify labor needs, and ensure new scopes are executable
- Support sales through scope strategy, preconstruction collaboration, and cross-selling opportunities
