Executive Director (SC)

Overview

The new E.D. will step into an organization that is financially sound and where opportunities for growth in both HIV and LGBTQ+ programming abound. Spahr Center also has fairly recently completed a five‑year strategic plan that was created with lots of input from community partners and a broad range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

The position requires a proven organizational leader with vision, energy, and a personal connection to LGBTQ+ and/or HIV communities, as well as the ability to grow and scale a community‑based nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate profile is someone with a transparent and inclusive leadership style and the ability to motivate and inspire multiple constituencies, as well as an intersectional lens and commitment to equity and inclusion.
