Managing Director

I'm currently working on with one of my top clients in New York for an exclusive mandate.

They’re building out a high-performing desk and are on the lookout for a Fixed Income ETF Specialist to join the team at MD / Director level.

This is a front-office role on a fast-paced desk focused on systematic market making in Fixed Income ETFs and trading credit flows.

The team values strong market intuition and product knowledge over pure technical skills, though any coding background is definitely a plus.

Here’s what they’re looking for:

• Senior U.S.-based leader, able to operate autonomously
• Builder mentality: able to take V1 infrastructure to V2 and scale toward Tier-1 standards
• Deep fixed income experience (credit, rates, bonds, ETFs)
• Hands-on ETF primary and secondary trading
• e-Credit / electronic fixed income market-making experience
• Revenue- and P&L ownership while building the business
• Strong cross-functional skills (working with tech, compliance, onboarding, bond desks)
• Prop or bank background is fine
• Systematic knowledge is optional; able to explain algos without coding
• Director / MD archetype (strong SVP acceptable if promotable)
• NYC-based or open to relocating

This is a senior opportunity with real responsibility, influence, and visibility on a well-resourced desk at a global firm.
